Hosted by the Senior Army Reserve
Commanders Association
LTG Stultz is the Chief, Army Reserve and Commanding General of the US Army Reserve Command. This event is an opportunity for local citizens and business, industry, and government leaders to learn about the Army Reserve and how the reserve component soldiers living in Southern California are serving and protecting their country in a very dangerous world. The event will begin at 6PM with a cash bar and includes a dinner featuring Beef Tri-Tip or Chicken Parmesan. It will be held in the Colonial Room in Building 19, 4745 Yorktown Avenue at the Los Alamitos Joint Training Base. Sorry, the dinner is now sold out!
LTG Stultz left active duty in June 1979 to pursue a civilian career. At the same time, he began his Army Reserve career with assignment to the 108th Division (Infantry OSUT), headquartered in Charlotte, N.C. For the next twenty years, he served in various command and staff positions in the Army Reserve while working for Proctor and Gamble. In 1991, LTG Stultz was mobilized and deployed to Kuwait for Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He was mobilized and deployed three more times: to the Balkans in 1997; to Kuwait in 1999; and back to the Middle East in 2002 where he remained for 22 months. In October 2003 he was assigned as Director of Movements, Distribution and Transportation, Combined Forces Land Component Command Kuwait, responsible for the deployment/redeployment of sustainment supplies for US and Coalition forces in Kuwait and Iraq. From January to August 2004, he was responsible for port and ground transportation operations for the largest movement of forces since World War II. He then returned to reserve duty as Commander, 143rd Transportation Command. In May 2005, he pinned on his third star and assumed his current positions as advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army on Army Reserve matters and the commander of the Army Reserve. |
